Budget airline Play sets course for Düsseldorf

The Icelandic low-cost airline Play is adding additional routes from Keflavik to its summer flight schedule for 2023: New flights will include Düsseldorf, Billund, Arhus and Aalborg. The new targets are to be introduced gradually from June 2023.

Play plans to fly between Düsseldorf and Keflavik on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from June 8, 2023. Shortly thereafter, Aalborg (twice a week), Aarhus (twice a week) and Billund (twice a week) will be included. The newly announced routes are to be served with medium-haul Airbus A320neo jets.

Other new destinations in summer 2023 include: Washington-Dulles (once a day), Stockholm-Arlanda (four times a week), Porto (twice a week), Hamburg (twice a week) and Athens (twice a week).
