Lübeck Airport's house brand will also be flying to Salzburg in Austria in the 2021 summer flight schedule. The ATR 72 operated by Air Alsie will be used. The connection, which will initially be offered on Saturdays, has been announced for July 3, 2021.

With the tour operator Eurotours, the cooperation partner on the Salzburg-Lübeck route, passengers who fly to Lübeck are offered a variety of travel packages to the Baltic Sea. ATeams-Reiseservice has prepared offers for guests from Germany.

"There are few airports that have a private operator like us and also have their own small airline," says Lübeck boss Jürgen Friedel. “As a young company with a traditional airport, we have the opportunity to break new ground in aviation in terms of comfort and the environment. We are less dependent on external factors, such as developments in the airline market, and can offer our passengers here in Lübeck the best service from a single source. We are particularly looking forward to the development opportunities of the connection to Salzburg. Austria is also an extremely interesting tourist destination in winter, not just for skiers. "

Salzburg Airport Director Bettina Ganghofer adds: “Every new route that leads to and from Salzburg makes me particularly happy at these times. Lübeck Air is, so to speak, a young start-up aviation company that heads for the right destination with the right aircraft and fits in well with the catchment areas of the respective cities. Salzburg is one of the first destinations on board. I know Lübeck, a city worth seeing with history and many opportunities to spend your vacation. The Baltic Sea is only a stone's throw away and invites you to enjoy the many excursion destinations. Lübeck is a wonderful addition to our range of destinations ”.
