The German holiday airline Sundair carried out the first flight from Lübeck on Saturday. This took place in Heraklion and is to be carried out on Tuesdays and Sundays during the current summer season.

A medium-haul Airbus A319 jet was used, which according to the airport was said to have been “well utilized”. From May 4, 2022, the destination Palma de Mallorca will be served on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From May 20, 2022, Sundair will fly to Antalya on Monday and Friday traffic days. The first flight should be fully booked.

Sundair uses Airbus A319 and A320 medium-haul jets from Lübeck. Both their own machines and those of the Croatian sister company FlyAir41 are used. It is currently the airport's only customer, as Lübeck Air is Lübeck Airport's house brand.
