Lufthansa transferred the Airbus A350-900 with the registration D-AAEU from Luqa to Munich on Thursday. The long-haul aircraft is not yet painted in the livery of the new operator.

It is a used A350-900 that was previously used as the RP-C3506 at Philippine Airlines. On September 6, 2021, the jet was transferred from Manila to Luqa. Extensive maintenance work was carried out at Lufthansa Technik at the Maltese airport.

A repainting in the crane livery was not carried out in Malta. The now D-AAEU is currently located at Munich Airport in Germany. The first commercial use is to take place in the next few weeks. Until then, this long-haul jet should visit the paint shop.
