From March 15, 2021 Lufthansa plans to connect Münster / Osnabrück Airport to the Munich hub again. Both routes, which are mainly used by transfer passengers, are currently inactive.

Up to three daily rotations are planned for the Bavarian hub. The resumption of the Frankfurt connection will take a few more weeks, because Lufthansa does not want to reactivate it until June 28, 2021. Then you want to offer two daily rotations.

Münster / Osnabrück Airport is suffering heavily from the consequences of the corona pandemic. Most recently, the shareholders took hold of the airport again. The district of Steinfurt made a million dollar amount loose. A regional discussion will be held on the future direction of the airport.
