Lufthansa welcomes first Dreamliner with new Allegris cabin in Frankfurt

The airline Lufthansa has its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with the new Allegris cabin in Frankfurt. The aircraft landed at Frankfurt Airport and is scheduled to be used on the Toronto route starting in mid-October.

The fleet will be modernized in the coming years, and is expected to be completed this year. Lufthansa up to nine additional aircraft of this type at its largest hub. In total, the company 29 Boeing 787-9 ordered.

The new interior design offers improvements for travelers in all classes. Lufthansa Business Class will offer dedicated suites that provide more privacy. These suites will be available for booking after the certification process is complete.

The airline had already introduced the Allegris cabin on long-haul flights from Munich in summer 2024. A company spokesperson said that fleet modernization is now also being pushed forward at the Frankfurt location.
