Lufthansa is planning to use only 30 percent of the original offer in winter - that means flight cancellations.

An end to the coronavirus crisis is not yet in sight. The booking numbers look extremely meager compared to the previous year's figures. For this reason, the German flag carrier is announcing significant changes to the flight plan. These should primarily affect the next few months. The subsidiaries Austrian Airlines, Swiss and Brussels Airlines are not exempt from this either, as is the case Reisevor9.de reported.

In these uncertain times it is extremely difficult to put together a flight plan that can actually be implemented. Announced flight connections can be canceled at short notice - but affected passengers would be informed and automatically rebooked as far as possible, according to the company. In the case of transfer connections, on the other hand, it may be necessary to manually rebook the incoming and outgoing flights.
