The German Lufthansa will start flight operations between Frankfurt and Skopje next summer, connecting the two cities with a scheduled flight service again after more than a decade.
The flights will start on April 23, 2023 and will be operated up to twice a day with a total of ten weekly rotations. Lufthansa will be the second new airline to enter the North Macedonian market next summer, after Norwegian Air Shuttle. The AUA parent uses an Airbus A319 on this route. This is reported by the online portal Ex-Yu-Aviation. So far, Lufthansa was only represented on the Macedonian market by Austrian Airlines. The Austrian airline connects Vienna with the North Macedonian capital on a daily basis.
