Lufthansa opens two lounges in Berlin

Lufthansa cannot currently offer its own lounges at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. That is changing today, because the Senator and Business Lounges will open their doors on April 3, 2023.

In recent months, the Kranich Group has repeatedly been criticized for not having an exclusive waiting area for frequent flyers and status passengers at the capital's airport. Although they have access to one of the airport lounges, these are often considered to be very busy.

Both new Crane Lounges feature a sleek and minimalist design, but are equipped with a range of amenities designed to help passengers relax and re-energize before their flight. The Senator Lounge features a fireplace where guests can relax or work, while the Business Lounge offers a TV club to enjoy movies and music. In addition, the business lounge offers a library of illustrated books for guests to enjoy. Both lounges have fantastic runway views and are located on the North Pier of Terminal 1.
