Lufthansa will use the ten Airbus A350-1000 long-haul aircraft ordered primarily from Munich. There they are to supplement the existing A350-900 fleet. Perspectively, older four-radiators will be replaced.

On Thursday, Lufthansa surprised with an order for a total of 22 long-haul aircraft. In the course of the presentation of the financial figures, CEO Carsten Spohr said that the ten Airbus A350-1000 will be stationed in Munich and will gradually replace the Airbus A380 machine type, which will be reactivated this summer.
