The AUA mother is taking her direct flights from Frankfurt to Bridgetown out of the program - at least for the time being.
The Caribbean island is one of Lufthansa's most popular holiday destinations. But apparently the route is no longer profitable in times of Corona. One of the reasons is likely to be the recent classification as a risk area. Due to these developments, the airline has decided to temporarily discontinue the direct connection from Frankfurt to Bridgetown in Barbados, which was only started in October. This route was currently operated once a week with an Airbus A330 operated by Brussels Airlines on behalf of Eurowings. According to the current state of knowledge, the route should be resumed with the change to the summer flight schedule, reports Reisetopia.de.
