With the Airbus A310 with the registration 10+25, the German Air Force flew wounded and sick Ukrainians to Nuremberg on Thursday. The patients were then taken overland to hospitals throughout Bavaria by emergency services.

The airport fire brigade and the traffic department of the airport took over the organization on site; the integrated control center of the Nuremberg fire brigade coordinated the patient transports in cooperation with the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK).

Around 16:00 p.m., the Airbus A310, which brought wounded soldiers of the Ukrainian army to Germany from Poland, landed at Nuremberg Airport. According to the so-called cloverleaf concept, the patients were distributed to hospitals throughout Bavaria and treated there. For this reason, numerous rescue vehicles from all organizations were on site.

The photo gallery below shows the Luftwaffe's A310 and rescue vehicles. Not to see the patients, in particular for reasons of privacy protection. Understandably, Nuremberg Airport strictly forbade taking photos of the wounded.
