The low-cost airline Wizz Air UK now has a new full-flight simulator available at London Luton Airport. This is operated by IAGO Flight Training as part of a long-term agreement.

This is primarily intended to be used by Wizz Air Airbus pilots stationed in Luton. In the future, pilots of sister companies in the group could also take part in training courses in London instead of Budapest, as this is explicitly planned. If the lowcoster does not need the simulator itself, pilots from other airlines can also use it. For this, IAGO Flight Training charges the corresponding fee according to the price list.

“London Luton Airport is the perfect place for us to conduct crew training. Not only for our British crews, but also for other crews stationed elsewhere in Europe. The combined strengths of IAGO and Avion Group make it a win-win situation, ”explains András Sebők, Chief Central Operations Officer at Wizz Air.
