After the airline Luxair applied for subsidies from the Slovenian government, the airline is now planning to offer new routes in Slovenia. Ljubljana in particular is to be flown to in the future.

The carrier Luxair applied with another competitor for subsidies for the inclusion of new Slovenian routes. Whether a decision will be made for the two has yet to be analyzed extensively. However, Luxair's goal is to expand to overseas markets as its domestic horizon is limited, according to the Ex Yu Aviation News portal. After flight operations in Belgium, England and Germany, flights with a Slovenian background are now to be carried out. Ljubljana is to be specifically included in the flight programme.
