Luxembourg: Alexander Flassak officially appointed airport boss

The board of directors of Lux-Airport has confirmed the previous interim boss Alexander Flassak as chief executive officer.

The former CFO and deputy CEO of Luxembourg Airport has been in charge of the company since René Steinhaus left in May. Alexander Flassak started at the airport in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Real Estate Development and previously worked for Ernst & Young in Frankfurt and Luxembourg for nine years.

“I am delighted with my appointment as CEO and the trust that our Board of Directors has placed in me. Together with our employees and colleagues in management, we will continue to be fully committed to the continuous improvement and development of the airport, taking into account all key elements,” Flassak told The essential.
