Lydia Naef will become Chief Real Estate Officer and a member of the Executive Board of Flughafen Zürich AG as of September 1, 2022. She succeeds Daniel Scheifele, who has decided to take on a new professional challenge.

The Board of Directors of Flughafen Zürich AG has appointed Lydia Naef as the new Head of Real Estate and a member of the Executive Board. In this function, she assumes responsibility for all of the airport's real estate over the entire life cycle: from strategic planning to development and construction to operation.

She has been with Flughafen Zürich AG for over ten years, currently as Head of Property & Portfolio Management and deputy to the current Head of Real Estate. She is responsible for the entire real estate portfolio and its further development. Before that she worked for RESO Partners AG and Halter AG.

Daniel Scheifele leaves Zurich Airport AG

After six years, Daniel Scheifele is leaving Flughafen Zürich AG at the end of August to take on a new challenge as CEO of Rapp AG. In addition to construction projects such as the expansion of the landside passenger areas or the expansion of the baggage sorting system, Daniel Scheifele was responsible for the construction and commissioning of the Circle and the takeover of the Priora building park.
