Malaysia Airlines does not welcome people who have stayed in India. The airline is temporarily no longer carrying these passengers. However, this is not done voluntarily; the government has ordered a corresponding ban on transport.

The aim is to exclude that the flight ban for non-stop connections can be circumvented via transfers to third countries. All passenger flights from India to Malaysia have already been canceled. The transport ban was issued for an unlimited period. According to Malaysia Airlines, there should be no impact on cargo traffic.
