Advertising

Kassel-Calden Airport is expanding its offering for the 2025 summer season to include regular flights to Mallorca.

From May 8 to October 26, 2025, the Spanish airline Alba Star will serve the route twice a week - Thursdays and Sundays - with a Boeing 737-800. In addition, destinations such as Gran Canaria and South Tyrol as well as special trips to Lapland, Rome and other destinations are included in the program.

We really like Kassel Airport and would like to see more flight connections from Kassel to places like Turkey, Greece, and the Canary Islands, but please not with the airline Alba Star, which, according to several reports from affected passengers, does not seem to be reputable.
Please consider booking with reputable, reliable airlines. We've flown with Eurowings several times, and well, they're not great either. We also had a claim for compensation due to a flight cancellation, and Eurowings only paid after we took legal action.
