Malta: Challenge Airlines MT obtained AOC and OL

The Maltese startup Challenge Airlines MT is now officially an airline. The company has been granted AOC and operating license by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Malta.

Flight operations are to begin with two Boeing 767-300ER cargo aircraft. These will be stationed in Liège, Belgium. The start-up is an offshoot of the Challenge Group.

Challenge Airlines MT will operate regular flights between Liege, Tel Aviv (TLV), Sharjah (SHJ), New York (JFK) and Mumbai (BOM). Other airlines in the group are based in Israel and Belgium.
