A number of military special visitors have again been spotted at Maltese Luqa Airport in recent days. Among other things, it was a Boeing C-32B of the United States Air Force and a Casa C295 of the Philippine Air Force.

This USAF Boeing C-32B (757-23A) landed in Luqa on March 22, 2022. She can be seen approaching runway 31. Rumors persist that this anonymous-looking Boeing 757 is operated by a highly specialized United States Air Force unit. She came to the Mediterranean island from Manchester with the call sign “Nora 78”.

This Philippine Air Force CASA C295 is delivered to the Asian country. The military plane came from Seville and continued its journey the following day. Airbus Military has been using Malta for technical stopovers for a number of years.
