The Maltese start-up Bridges Air is getting closer and closer to its planned start, because with the 9H-BWW the first freighter of the type ATR72-200 has been entered in the register.

The turboprop aircraft comes from Swiftair, to whose group of companies one belongs. First you want to start with an ATR72F from the inventories of the Swiftair Group. The group includes the operating airlines Swiftair Hellas, West Atlantic, Cygnus Air and Swiftair. The latter AOC also operates passenger flights, for example for Uep.

AOC and operating license are to be issued by TM-CAD in the foreseeable future. Bridges Air Cargo aims for the first flight in the third quarter of 2023.
