Mannheim Airport's house brand, Rhein-Neckar Air, is postponing the resumption of non-stop flights to Berlin and Hamburg. These should actually have been reactivated on May 16, 2022, but the booking situation is currently poor.

The company, which has all flights operated by Bavarian MHS Aviation, has decided that Berlin and Hamburg will probably be reactivated on June 28, 2022. In direct comparison with the level that was before the corona pandemic, the frequency of flights should be rather low.

You want to head for the Free and Hanseatic City on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday traffic days. It should go to Berlin on Tuesdays. Before the crisis, people flew up to twice a day during the week. The Sylt flights and the charter from Kassel-Calden are not affected by the short-term postponement of the reactivation of the two city routes.

I'm convinced that if you make it more public ..... then the planes will be full again. I also found out quite by accident that it will soon be possible to fly Mannheim – Berlin again. I can barely wait for it….
