The Condor sister company Marabu Airlines paid a short visit to Nuremberg Airport on Friday, April 14, 2023 for training purposes. The Airbus A320neo with the registration ES-MBU was used.

From mid-May, the new airline will be regular guests at Nuremberg Airport with flights to Heraklion on the Greek island of Crete. Marabu Airlines is represented on the German market by the well-known German holiday airline Condor as a sales partner and primarily flies to holiday destinations around the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.

Initially, seven Airbus aircraft from the A320 family will be used. For the time being, Marabu will only operate the ES-MBU itself. The other six aircraft will be managed under wet lease agreements with Heston Airlines and Nordica. The plan is to gradually switch to full in-house operation.
