A new ACMI and charter provider is launched in Slovenia under the name Dunair. The first aircraft in the fleet will be a Boeing 737-300, registered S5-AEA.
The start-up will initially focus on providing ACMI and charter services. According to the current state of affairs, there are no plans to take up scheduled flights for one's own account. Headquarters of the young provider, who is still waiting for the AOC and operating license to be granted, is in Maribor. The local airport is also to be used as a home base.
Dunair is reticent about possible first-time customers and points out that this will be announced at a later date. However, Mavio News reports that the Boeing 737-300 with the serial number 28673 has been taken over. This machine was last registered in Gambia as C5-BDO. Dunair is to fly with this as S5-AEA in the future on behalf of the Sudanese Badr Airlines. The Slovenian air carrier declined to comment on the coverage.
