The low-cost airline Ryanair is currently examining entry into domestic business in Morocco. Permits have already been applied for for this. It is still unclear whether you will be allowed to operate as a foreign carrier or whether you will set up a local branch.

Local media report that Ryanair has applied for permission to operate domestic flights in Morocco for the 2024 summer flight schedule. You need a special permit for this because you don't have a local AOC. If you don't get the exemption, you would have to set up a branch based in Morocco.

Ryanair currently has three bases in this country. Numerous international routes are served with two aircraft in Agadir, three in Fez and seven in Marrakesh.
