Deutsche Lufthansa AG has gained a new major shareholder in logistics entrepreneur Michael Kühne. The latter has increased its stake by 4,04 percent, reports the Handelsblatt, citing the recent shareholding in voting rights.
Kühne holds his stake through KA Logistik Beteiligungen GmbH and is the second largest single shareholder in Lufthansa after the Federal Republic of Germany, which holds 14,09 percent. This holds the majority of the Swiss logistics group Kühne+Nagel via the Kühne-Holding, which recently announced that one will charter aircraft from Atlas Air.
