The Hamburg logistics company has increased its stake to 15,01 percent.

The federal government is only number two at Lufthansa: Michael Kühne now controls 15,01 percent of Lufthansa and thus around one percent more than the Economic Stabilization Fund WSF, as reported by the aviation portal Aero. At the beginning of March, Kühne triggered the reporting threshold of five percent via a private investment company, and a few weeks later Kühne had already doubled his Lufthansa stake. According to its own statements, the Hamburg logistics company is pursuing strategic goals with its entry. Kuehne is the majority shareholder of the logistics group Kuehne + Nagel and a major shareholder in the Hamburg container shipping company Hapag-Lloyd.
