The test center in Moses Lake (USA) is being closed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Flight tests of the Spacejet program were carried out at this location. Activities have been suspended since the beginning of the corona pandemic.

In the past few weeks there have been repeated Rumorsthat Mitsubishi could give up the Spacejet. These turned out to be true, because the Japanese company announced a few days ago the end of the program. Years of delays had a negative effect on sales, but the corona crisis then left the proverbial remainder. First customer ANA will not need the machines for the foreseeable future. Mitsubishi reserves the right to resume it later.
