Exactly ten years ago - on June 1, 2011 - the VipWing opened its doors to travelers for the first time at Munich Airport. Due to the pandemic, the VIP area located in Terminal 1 had to remain closed for the past few months. With immediate effect, VipWing can once again welcome guests from all over the world, taking into account the currently applicable hygiene regulations.

The VipWing has a total area of around 1.700 square meters. Paying guests can take advantage of the offer regardless of their airline or booking class. The VIP service package includes, among other things, the complete baggage and customs clearance, passport control and a limousine service to and from the aircraft. Multilingual personal assistants offer all-round support and organize all flight-related processes such as immigration formalities, check-in, baggage handling, tax refunds and customs clearance, while guests relax in the VipWing.

The offer also includes access to an outdoor beer garden and a buffet. A bar service, shower facilities, a cigar lounge and an interfaith prayer room are also available. Private suites with a view of the apron, bedroom suites and fully equipped conference rooms can also be booked.

“With its Bavarian charm and unique design, the VipWing has won over thousands of guests from all over the world over the years. To date, more than 250.000 visitors from numerous countries have made use of the service offered here, ”the broadcast said.
