Germany's Munster/Osnabrück Airport celebrated on Friday the launch of a non-stop service to Heraklion operated by Aegean Airlines. The A320, which flies on behalf of various tour operators, was packed.

The charter flights are operated on Friday and Tuesday during the summer season. Taking into account the flight offers of other carriers, there are now five weekly connections between Münster/Osnabrück and the Greek island of Heraklion. Aegean Airlines was greeted on Friday with the traditional fire brigade water fountain.

“With Münster/Osnabrück, we are adding another airport in Germany to our route network. We look forward to successful and well-booked flights together with our tourism partners and Münster/Osnabrück Airport,” says Detlev Geiser, Country Sales Manager at Aegean Airlines.
