Münster/Osnabrück Airport records busiest day of 2024

On October 15, 2024, Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) experienced its busiest day of the year with 7.261 passengers.

Ten airlines operated 49 flights to eight destinations in five countries, including popular destinations such as Antalya and Mallorca. The increase in passenger numbers underlines the importance of the autumn holidays as a travel-intensive time. This daily record was last exceeded ten years ago.

The general traffic development in 2024 at FMO is also positive. With growth of 32 percent compared to the previous year (January to August), FMO is the fastest growing airport in Germany, according to the Association of German Airports (ADV).
