The airline Smartlynx opened a base at Münster/Osnabrück Airport last Friday. On behalf of the tour operator Tui, some holiday destinations will be served during the 2023 summer flight schedule.

The airport announced that the first flight, which was operated in the direction of Palma de Mallorca, was fully booked. “It's nice that our offer is so well received in the FMO region. There have also been numerous bookings from the Netherlands," says Sven Winterstein, Head of Flight Planning and Purchasing at Tui Germany.

Every Saturday we go to the largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife, on Sundays to Gran Canaria and on Mondays to Fuerteventura. The Greek islands are also becoming increasingly popular. The plane to Crete always takes off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Rhodes and Kos are on the program on Thursdays and Sundays and Wednesdays and Fridays respectively. And to Mallorca, the most popular holiday island for Germans, the flight departs four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

“These popular holiday destinations complete our extraordinarily attractive summer flight schedule. Our passengers appreciate a relaxed and stress-free departure from FMO,” says Andrés Heinemann, Head of Marketing at Münster/Osnabrück Airport.
