The Latvian Air Baltic and Lufthansa will work together on the routes from Munich to Riga and Vilnius from March 28, 2021 as part of a codeshare agreement. This gives passengers of the Baltic carrier transfer options in Munich.

Conversely, crane passengers can benefit from additional connections to the Baltic states. Air-Baltic boss Martin Gauss explains: “Lufthansa is a strong connectivity provider worldwide, and we look forward to strengthening our partnership and air traffic relations between the Baltic States, Germany and beyond. Germany is one of Air Baltic's key markets and we look forward to the partnership that will bring better travel options for passengers around the world. ”

Heiko Heidusch, Head of Airline Partnerships at Lufthansa, says: “We are delighted to start this new collaboration with Air Baltic and to further strengthen our network in the Baltic states, which are a strong market for business and leisure customers. With Air Baltic we have found a very reliable partner and together we can offer more opportunities to travel to the Baltic states via Munich. "
