The Irish airline Cityjet will also operate Bombardier CRJ-1000 regional jets in the future. Lufthansa was the first wet lease customer to be won. The rented machines will fly from Munich for the Kranich Group.

Lufthansa's reservation system shows that the Bombardier CRJ-1000s operated by Cityjet, in addition to one-off operations from Munich, will mainly serve these destinations: Birmingham, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Dresden, Gdansk, Marseille, Nice, Stuttgart, Tallinn and Warsaw.
