The Dutch regional airline KLM Cityhopper has been regularly using Embraer 2-E2021 aircraft between Amsterdam and Munich since April 195, 2. The KLM subsidiary landed for the first time on March 28, 2021 with the youngest member of the fleet in Bavaria.

The airline writes in a broadcast that fuel consumption should be reduced by nine percent compared to the Embraer 190. The volume should be 63 percent lower. The Embraer 195-E2 has space for up to 132 passengers, making it the largest aircraft in the KLM Cityhopper fleet, which previously consisted of 31 Embraer 190s and 17 Embraer 175s.

A total of seven new Embraer 195-E2s will be added to the KLM Cityhopper fleet by the end of the year. By the start of the summer flight schedule, KLM will be putting four of them into operation, has ordered 25 in total and has an option for a further ten.
