Korean Air will resume flights to Hawaii on November 3rd. The airline discontinued the connection on April 3, 2020 due to COVID-19.
In the future, the South Korean airline will fly from Incheon to Honolulu three days a week. Every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, KE053 takes off from Incheon International Airport at 20:35 PM and arrives in Honolulu at 10:00 AM. It goes back under flight number KE054 every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 11:40 a.m. The reason for the resumption is the steadily increasing demand for travel to Hawaii, according to the company. Before the pandemic, Korean operated the Incheon to Hawaii route with 14 flights a week (two daily flights).
