After a proud eleven-year break, TAAG Angola once again connects the capitals of Angola and Spain. The Spanish Iberia will also follow until 2016, before the IAG subsidiary discontinued the Luanda route.
TAAG now offers two weekly rotations from/to Madrid. However, there were not many passengers on the first flight, as only 17 passengers disembarked in the Spanish capital. Nevertheless, one is confident that the route, which has been left idle for eleven years, will be economically successful.
The carrier has been serving this route since June 27, 2022 with Boeing 777-300ER. These are seated with 293 seats. The outbound flights are offered on the traffic days Sunday and Thursday. It goes back to Luanda on Mondays and Fridays. There are 12 full-flat seats in First Class, 56 full-flats in Business Class and 225 in Economy Class.
