The Spanish IAG group member Iberia will be operating charter flights once a week between Madrid and Venice and Hamburg for the MSC shipping company from Saturday. These should initially be offered until the end of September 2021.
These flights run from Madrid to Venice every Saturday, departing Madrid at 9:15 am and landing at 11:45 am for the best connections with the MSC cruise ship in the Italian city.
The flights from Madrid to Hamburg also operate on Saturdays, leaving the Spanish capital at 10:00 a.m. and landing in Hamburg at 13:00 p.m., the best time to change trains with the MSC cruise in this German port.
These flights, which are exclusively dedicated to cruise passengers, offer a total of 5.200 seats, an offer that Iberia completes with its regular flights to both destinations: two more daily flights to Venice and one more daily flight to Hamburg.
"The agreement with MSC Cruises and this charter company represent a new milestone in the recovery of tourism after the pandemic. We hope that this is the beginning of a long relationship with one of the most prestigious companies in the industry," says Guillermo González-Vallina, Iberia -Sales Director for Spain, Portugal and North Africa.
