The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings is again extending the pause on flights from Graz and Linz. In Styria, flights to Stuttgart and Düsseldorf are affected. From the Upper Austrian Airport the connection to the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia.

At the end of November 2021, it was announced that Eurowings from Graz and Linz would initially operate due to the Omikron variant until January 10, 2022 will not fly to Stuttgart or Düsseldorf. A few days later it became known that the flight break will be extended and that from Styria the last route taken over by Austrian Airlines (Düsseldorf) will also be affected. Another extension followed until February 21, 2022.

This date does not last either, because Eurowings has again decided to extend the flight breaks from Linz and Graz. It is currently planned that the flights should be reactivated on February 28, 2022, but in view of the previous history it is necessary to wait and see the actual implementation.
