The airline Jet2 is building another base in Liverpool. This will initially consist of four aircraft that will be stationed on site. Gradually one wants to offer 20 additional destinations from the British city.

The planned route network from Liverpool is heavily geared towards tourism. Almost all planned routes lead to classic holiday regions. From the end of March 2024, for example, there will be five times a week to Tenerife South. Lanzarote, Palma de Mallorca, Antalya, Dalaman, Alicante, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Faro are also to be included in the mentioned calendar month of the coming year.

In April 2024, non-stop connections to Funchal and Paphos will follow. From May 2024, Jet2 also wants to fly from Liverpool to Zakynthos, Bodrum, Burgas, Rhodes, Corfu, Heraklion, Kos, Ibiza and Menorca. In the area of sales, the company also relies heavily on the group's own tour operator Jet2 Holidays.
