At the inaugural meeting of the Supervisory Board of Austrian Airlines on September 20, 2024, Till Streichert was elected as the new Chairman. He takes over the office from Christina Foerster, who resigned from her mandate at the end of June 30, 2024. Veit Schmid-Schmidsfelden was elected Deputy Chairman.

In addition to Streichert, Elisabeth Gruber was also appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board. She replaces Christine Catasta. Gruber has headed the Presidential Section in the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) since July 2022 and brings extensive experience from the private and public sectors. Streichert, who has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Deutsche Lufthansa AG since September 15, 2024, has a broad professional career with international management positions in companies such as Vodafone and T-Mobile.

The members of the Supervisory Board were appointed until the Annual General Meeting in 2028. On the side of the capital representatives, Veit Schmid-Schmidsfelden and Hans-Joachim Arnold will remain on the board. René Karl Pfister and Andreas Geldner will represent the employees.
