The Government of Sarajevo Canton has announced that Sarajevo Airport will launch eight new flight connections in the coming summer season. Among others, Ryanair will add four new routes that will start operating in April 2025, and Eurowings will start flights from Berlin.
Norwegian is adding seasonal connections from Copenhagen, while Swiss will offer new flights from Geneva. The expansion of the route network is part of an initiative by the government and the tourism association to further strengthen Sarajevo as a travel airport.
