Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG, which is located above Dresden and Leipzig / Halle Airports, has a new chairwoman of the supervisory board in Hiltrud Werner. On Monday she was elected to the head of the supervisory body.
Werner replaces the Saxon State Minister of Finance, Hartmut Vorjohann. He had temporarily taken over the office at the end of August. Vorjohann remains a member of the supervisory board and was elected one of the three deputy chairmen. Further deputy chairpersons are Michael Richter, Finance Minister of Saxony-Anhalt, and Gerd Doepelheuer, employee representative.
“The Central German Airports group has set itself ambitious growth targets. We want to make decisive use of our entrepreneurial opportunities - for the benefit of our customers, our employees and the people in the entire region. We are therefore grateful for the reliable support of our owners. The constructive dialogue with all the newly elected members of the supervisory board will lead us to success together, ”explains MDF CEO Götz Ahmelmann.
