The airline Norwegian has been offering direct flights from Munich to Rovaniemi in Finland since December 3, 2024.

The connection operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays and goes to the city on the Arctic Circle, known as the home of Santa Claus. Visitors can visit Santa Claus Village and experience the Northern Lights. Munich Airport welcomed the new connection as a special destination in the winter and Christmas season.
