Norse Atlantic Airways raises fresh money by issuing new shares.

The low-cost long-haul airline, which operates in Berlin, among other places, achieved gross proceeds of the equivalent of 120 million euros (2,5 million Norwegian crowns) by placing 0,24 million new shares at a subscription price of 29 Norwegian crowns (300 euros). In a second step, the Norwegian airline is also planning a subsequent offering of 60 million more shares at this price. The fresh money is to be used to expand the British subsidiary. The first plane from Norse Atlantic UK is the Boeing 787-9 with registration G-CKOF. It is a 4,6 year old aircraft leased from AerCap.
