The startup Flyr plans to take off with two Boeing 2021-737s that were previously in the service of Pegasus at the end of June 800. Ticket sales are scheduled to start in May 2021. The carrier plans with a target fleet size of around 30 machines.

The operating concept is strongly reminiscent of Ryanair, as an all-economy cabin is to be offered. Drinks and snacks on board will be chargeable. For the time being, they want to limit themselves to the Boeing 737-800 machine type. The company announced that the first flight will take place on June 30, 2021 on the Oslo-Tromsø route.

Flyr currently assumes that largely unrestricted travel will be possible in the summer of 2021. The business plan has been aligned accordingly, but according to its own information it is also prepared for any delays. AOC and operating license have not yet been issued.
