Despite the enormously high number of infections, the country is relaxing its entry restrictions: travelers no longer have to be in quarantine in Norway.
Regardless of vaccination or recovery status, visitors are no longer required to quarantine after entering Norway. So far, all travelers in Norway without digital proof of vaccination or recovery had to be in quarantine for up to ten days if they entered a risk area marked red or dark red. This isolation requirement has now been abolished. However, unvaccinated people without proof of recovery are still obliged to present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test upon entry. In addition, all travelers must complete another rapid test directly at the border crossing or within 24 hours and register before entering the country.
