The ailing carrier no longer wants 92 737-Max and five 787s. The carrier does not rule out going to court either.
Boeing had reason to be happy yesterday: The first certification flight of the 737-Max took place successfully. But today the Airbus rival is faced with problems again. Because Norwegian Air Shuttle announced that it would cancel all orders and even bring lawsuits against the US aircraft manufacturer in court.
Specifically, it concerns 92 aircraft of the type 737 Max and five long-haul aircraft of the type 787 “Dreamliner”, which according to the list price are worth a total of 9,4 billion euros. The airline's downfall was the flight bans imposed on the 737 Max model and unscheduled maintenance work on the 787 aircraft. They now want to take legal action against these losses.
