Nouvelair is expanding towards Germany

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The airline Nouvelair wants to fly to the German destinations Frankfurt am Main, Hanover, Dusseldorf, Cologne / Bonn and Berlin-Brandenburg this summer. In Switzerland, Geneva is on the flight plan.

According to a media release, the carrier, which comes from Tunisia, primarily relies on so-called ethnic traffic. It is hoped that Tunisians living in Germany will use the flight connections to visit their homeland. The entry regulations are currently still restrictive, so that tourist use is likely to play a rather subordinate role.

The new flights are offered from Tunis and partly also from Monastir. Tickets can already be booked on the Nouvelair homepage. The airline was founded in 1996 and currently operates ten Airbus A320-200s. The average age of the fleet is 14,9 years.
