In order to make the autumn holidays more pleasant for travelers to Germany, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia would like to offer free corona tests for this time.

The Ministry of Health has already sent a corresponding decree to the municipalities in this regard, such as the newsletter VWF reported. Anyone who comes from a region in which the value of 50 new infections per 100.000 inhabitants is reached or exceeded within a week and needs a negative test for a trip within Germany should be able to be tested free of charge. All costs would be covered by the federal health fund.

In the course of the holidays, all federal states have introduced stricter regulations.
